Since 1886, generations of families have trusted the Rachel Sovereign Memorial Home to provide comfortable, high-quality care to elderly women. Today, our two-story colonial home is licensed to provide assisted living services for 23 women. Our home was the first facility of its kind in Michigan. And your support makes it all possible!

To support the long-term needs of our organization, the Rachel Sovereign Memorial Home has established an endowment fund at the Bay Area Community Foundation, where the team is experienced at managing the accounting, investment, and distribution aspects of endowment funds. Working alongside the community foundation, our board and staff are committed to preparing for a stable future so that when priorities emerge that simply could not have been predicted, we will be ready. Distributions from our endowment fund are reviewed and approved by an independent board of directors to ensure that they fulfill our organization’s mission-focused goals.
